- Americans for Fair Taxation, learn more about it here - www.fairtax.org
The Fair Tax would replace existing federal taxes -- the personal income tax, the capital gains tax, the estate tax, even payroll taxes for Social Security and Medicare -- with a 30 percent national retail sales tax on the final sale of all goods and services. As Laurence Vance of the Ludwig von Mises Institute put it in a recent lecture, "The appeal is obvious: no more complex tax code, no more taxes withheld from paychecks, no more 1040 forms, no more record keeping, no more compliance costs, no more IRS audits.”
The Fair Tax’s radicalism is key. The tea party protesters seemed to genuinely desire a radical change in the way our government conducts its business, not simply minor reforms or more business-as-usual. If sustained, this sharp right turn at the grassroots level could have a serious political impact.

Its Time to Body Check Obama (If you're a left wing idiot: its a hockey term)
Sometime those Canadians get it exactly right! Read here.
Another good conspiracy theory!
The real Barack Obama was kidnapped by George Soros and replaced by an actor who can't remember his lines and needs a teleprompter. Read here.

Whew! Obama's 100 days are almost over!
Excellent, it will be great to get rid of the egomaniac and someone with more experience in the oval office. What? You're telling me HE GETS ANOTHER 100 DAYS? But these last 100 days have been such a miserable failure!
- 3.5 trilion spent,, on what?
- worldwide dictator ass-kissing tour.
- closing gitmo with no plan for where these terrorists are going to go.
- CIA and the war on terror compromised, if not dismanted entirely.
- our world class health care system soon to be in the same state as Canada's or the UK's.
- Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, enough said.
You mean to tell me he not only gets another 100 days, but another 1360? GOD HELP US!

Welcome to the Third World, Ms. Pelosi. Can you see the gallows being constructed from your office?
Update, more here. Obama's Interrogation Mess.
by Wesley Pruden in the Washington Times, read entire article here
Exacting revenge for unpopular policies is the norm in the third world, heretofore more likely in Barack Obama's ancestral Kenya than in America, more in the tradition of gangland Chicago than in Washington, where we count on cooler heads to prevail when raw emotion threatens to overwhelm sobriety and the undisciplined senses. We recall perceived national mistakes with the sadness of regret and even gratitude for lessons learned, not the frenzied catharsis of a St. Valentine's Day Massacre. Mr. Obama, having won the White House fair and square, is entitled to change any presidential policy he chooses, but the vindication of a national election does not entitle any president to exact mindless revenge.
Perhaps the president imagines that nobody cares much about what happens to lawyers, but he has set in motion something neither he nor anyone else can control. Some of the Democrats in Congress, eager now to join the mob, will regret what they cry for. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, for one, was a member of the House intelligence committee and sat in on super-secret briefings after Sept. 11. She concedes that she heard about waterboarding but she doesn't remember exactly what she heard. Just like Barack Obama sleeping through 20 years of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's rabid sermons, Ms. Pelosi dozed through the briefings. Her colleagues on the intelligence panel say they remember her demanding that the CIA do more to get the "intelligence" to prevent another attack.
Republicans in the Senate, including John McCain and Lindsey Graham, are finally finding their voices. So is Joe Lieberman, a courageous Democrat. If we're going to have hangings, Ms. Pelosi may be at risk of becoming our most famous female hangee since Mary Surratt paid her debt at the end of a rope for hanging out with John Wilkes Booth.

If anyone does not know who Ted Nugent is, they should.
The men who donned Indian costumes and took part in the original Boston Tea party weren’t a bunch of un-serious boobs performing for the media. They were committing an act compelled by their real, honest-to-God human condition. Like the people of Europe and beyond, with independence burning in their souls, determined to escape the shackles of slavery and tyranny, daring to take on an unknown world for their driving instincts to practice the religion of their choice, freely speak their minds, keep and bear arms and pursue their own happiness, the original Tea Party participants needed to make it crystal clear that the British goons who followed them to the Brave New World would not be allowed to impose the limitations on our God-given rights that we came to America to get away from.

Commentary: Obama waffled on torture -- and looks weak
by Ed Rollins
He waffled big time. Now all sides are mad at him and he looks weak. Weakness is the death knell for a president. With 1,366 days to go before this term is up, Obama's got to get tougher or he will be viewed as a personality who reads well from a teleprompter.

The Obama Doctrine: "Don't blame me."
Read here: The Obama Doctrine is a mea culpa for America from a self-obsessed president who puts himself before country. And it's a godsend for America's enemies.
In Obama's own mind, the globe began spinning only with his glorious exit from Ann Dunham's uterus. He can't be blamed for things that happened when he was a child; after all, how was he supposed to stop Bill Ayers from blowing things up, or JFK from botching the Bay of Pigs? He can't even be blamed for subsidizing Ayers' terrorist sympathizing or Ortega's dictatorial ranting -- after all, he can't rewrite history, can he? Hence the Obama Doctrine: it wasn't me. I'm busy junking America's philosophical past, says Obama. Give me a few years to remake America. Then we'll talk.
Obama seems to believe that if he just discards American history -- if he apologizes for our actions in Europe, in Latin America, in the Muslim world -- the rest of the world will offer America a clean slate. That demonstrates, first and foremost, a tremendous lack of pride in America's legacy of freedom and liberty around the globe. America generally needs a clean slate far less than any other country on the face of the earth.
Secondly, the Obama Doctrine demonstrates Obama's massively overweening sense of self-importance. Foreign leaders are not idiots -- if they sense they can elicit concessions from America simply by inflating Obama's confidence, they'll do it. Even assuming Obama's supposed international popularity, that popularity does not translate into a better international deal for America. Foreign leaders can stroke Obama's ego while undermining America's strength in the world. The world's fawning patronage of Barack Obama does not mean the world will treat America as an ally.

Treasonous, or just Stupidity?
Perhaps we need an investigation not of the enhanced interrogation program, but of what the Obama administration may be doing to endanger the security our nation has enjoyed because of interrogations and other antiterrorism measures implemented since Sept. 12, 2001.
From the Wall Street Journal, Mr. Hoekstra, a congressman from Michigan, is ranking Republican on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

Is Obama campaign cash quashing eligibility suits?
President Obama may be using campaign funds to stomp out eligibility lawsuits brought by Americans, as his campaign has paid more than $1 million to his top lawyer since the election.
Did we elect Borat President? Is that why BO won't produce his birth certificate?

Nice. Even the Canadians berate us now.
UPDATE: Sorry Canada, it's going to be a long 4 years.
Can someone please tell us how U. S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano got her job? She appears to be about as knowledgeable about border issues as a late-night radio call-in yahoo.
In an interview broadcast Monday on the CBC, Ms. Napolitano attempted to justify her call for stricter border security on the premise that "suspected or known terrorists" have entered the U. S. across the Canadian border, including the perpetrators of the 9/11 attack.
All the 9/11 terrorists, of course, entered the United States directly from overseas. The notion that some arrived via Canada is a myth that briefly popped up in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, and was then quickly debunked.
Informed of her error, Ms. Napolitano blustered: "I can't talk to that. I can talk about the future. And here's the future. The future is we have borders."
Just what does that mean, exactly?

Yet again, President Pantywaist: wimpy, wimpy, wimpy
by Mitt Romney in National Review
At last week’s Summit of the Americas, President Obama acquiesced to a 50-minute attack on America as terroristic, expansionist, and interventionist from Nicaraguan president Daniel Ortega. His response to Ortega’s denunciation of our effort to free Cuba from Castro’s dictatorship was that he shouldn’t be blamed “for things that happened when I was three months old.” Blamed? Hundreds of men, including Americans, bravely fought and died for Cuba’s freedom, heeding the call from newly elected president John F. Kennedy. But last week, even as American soldiers sacrificed blood in Afghanistan and Iraq to defend liberty, President Obama shrank from defending liberty here in the Americas.
In his first press interview as president, he confessed to Arabic television that America had “dictated” to other nations. No, Mr. President, America has fought to free other nations from dictators. And in Strasbourg, the president further claimed that America has “showed arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.” London’s Daily Telegraph observed that President Obama “went further than any United States president in history in criticizing his own country’s action while standing on foreign soil.” Of course, it was not just the Daily Telegraph that was listening: People around the world who yearn for freedom, who count on America’s resolve and support, heard him as well. He was heard in China, in Tibet, in Sudan, in Burma, and, yes, in Cuba.

Now this is some OUTRAGE! (Why do only the Left Wing Nuts know what 'teabagging' means?)
The following from AmericanThinker.com by Kyle-Anne Shiver
In all my years of watching news coverage in America, I don't believe I have ever witnessed more condescending, amateurish, purely politicized reporting than what just transpired among the liberal MSM covering America's Tax Day Tea Parties. The Tea Parties represented a very significant news event.
Whenever close to 300,000 middle-class Americans put their productive lives on hold on a midweek workday, make original signs with their own hands, and travel miles and miles to stand with other private citizens just to demonstrate their anger with government, in more than 300 cities from coast to coast and everywhere in between, that's NEWS. Yet, many local newspapers - even the Boston Globe for crying out loud! - pettily refused to even cover their local protests. When every news channel - except the only one thriving on the block, Fox - finally decided to cover the events, it was with derision, mockery and elitist condescension.
Note to MSM: This is why you're going broke.
Not only has this president pompously promised the wages of our children and grandchildren in a profligate spending spree that guarantees serfdom for the productive class, he has bowed, scraped, fawned and apologized his way across the entire continent of Europe.
He has planned huge and irresponsible cuts in our defense spending, promised to do away with missile defense systems and heralded the day he will disarm our nuclear arsenal, so as to set a nice example for the resurgent Russian Bear. Obama has obsequiously bowed to the Saudi King, some of whose own subjects blew more than 3,000 of our fellow Americans to kingdom come a mere 7 years ago. Obama has called off the Global War on Terror, yet has no surrender treaties to accompany this juvenile exercise in hating all things Bush. He has welcomed Castro, Chavez, Ortega, Ahmadinejad and Hamas with open arms, salivating grins and friendly warmth, while dissing our heretofore friends and allies, even making a rude point of telling Israel's PM, Netanyahu, that there will be no face-to-face meeting with him next month in D.C.

*CELEBRATE "READ THE CONSTITUTION DAY" MONDAY, APRIL 20TH! *
April 20th is "Read the Constitution Day". To commemorate the occasion, we're asking every one of you to Print and Mail a copy of the US Constitution to those that need it most: our elected and selected representatives in Federal government!
Just follow these four simple steps:
1. Print five copies of the Constitution. A handy, 6 page version can be found here:http://www.legis.state.wi.us/statutes/usconst.pdf
2. Put the copies in 5 envelopes. On the back of each envelope, write "PRESERVE, PROTECT, AND DEFEND." They are some of the most important words in the President's oath of office.
3. On MONDAY, APRIL 20TH, mail one each to your U.S. House Representative, your Senators, the President, and the Supreme Court:
THE PRESIDENT
The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500
THE SUPREME COURT
Public Information Officer
Supreme Court of the United States
Washington, DC 20543
YOUR SENATORS http://senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm
YOUR REPRESENTATIVE https://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welcome.shtml
4. Forward this to like-minded friends and neighbors and encourage them to do the same.
That's it! 5 envelopes, 5 stamps, 30 pages, and 1 hour of your time. Imagine the impact if thousands of us do this "one little thing." We want the entire federal government to know that there are thousands of Americans concerned for the integrity of our Constitution. They need to know we're paying attention to them, and we expect them to return the respect.
Remember - keep it simple and respectful: Just the Constitution and "PRESERVE, PROTECT, AND DEFEND"
